Negative stereotypes

A negative stereotype in when the media infers a negative characteristic about an Ethinic Group or just any group.

Positive stereotypes

A positve stereotype is when thye media infers a positive thoughtabout a group.For example asians are good at Mathematics and mexicans are good at house labor.

I believe that some stereotypes can be good or bad.Whether or not it is good depends on how the ethinic group feels about the stereotype.For example, people say all African American like chicken but I do not like chicken; so that would make it a negative stereotype.However, another person might like chicken so that would turn it to a positive stereotype.

The best things to me about americans is that many of them are self confident.Another thing is that they come from the land of the free.

Stereotypes

What is a stereotype? A stereotype is when someone infers that someone is a certain way without getting to know them. Many of sterotypes come when someone in race does something bad and then society come to a conclusion that that certain races is bad. Sometimes the media can pertray a certain race to do something that only a few of them do.
